I am a Baby Boomer. I was a working caregiver. I am a business owner providing elder care education through workshops at the work place. I recently attended an Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging. During those three days, attendees had the opportunity to listen to our state leaders, department heads and other professionals talk about, lecture, and impart information on aging. So what did I learn? I learned that if we’re not nervous, we should be. If we truly believe our government backed support system, i.e., Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, are prepared to handle the 76 million Baby Boomers approaching retirement age, think again.

Nursing home centers (also known as skilled nursing facilities) have come a long way over the past few decades. Although they’re still not perfect by any means, nursing homes today are much improved over their predecessors. In the 1950’s and 1960’s, nursing homes (or old folks homes as they were often referred to as) were scary places for senior citizens. Today that trend is changing. Although nursing homes can still be scary, today there is significantly more federal and state oversight of nursing homes. All nursing homes must meet certain requirements, such as having a nurse on staff 24-hours a day, seven days per week in order to keep their doors open and have to meet all sorts of requirements in order to qualify for Medicaid, Medicare and other government funding programs.

How do you get under your prospect’s skin? How do you devise a network marketing advertising strategy so that every direction your prospect moves, you are there? You want them ultimately to have every thought on the MLM business lead to YOU.
First, you have to choose exactly who your MLM market is. Second, talk only to them and to nobody else.
If you can recruit just one person a month onto autoship in your network marketing company, and teach that person to do the same, the numbers play out so that in a year’s time you would have over 4,000 people on autoship in your group (Month 1: 2; Month 2: 4; then 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096).

Growing cactus indoors is a relatively simple process. Although, most of the cactus plants tolerate neglect, they thrive properly when given good care. These plants are mostly adapted to dry conditions. Most of the cacti varieties differ tremendously in shape, size, color and flowering habits. Although, most of these cacti are found in the desert regions, some are also observed in jungles. As much as two thousand different species of cacti are present in nature. This opens tremendous opportunities for those people, who are especially interested in growing cactus indoors. Majority of the cactus are native to Americas only. These plants normally differ in size from few inches to giants, which normally exceed the household space.

Carpenter tools make an idealistic gift for the budding carpenter in your family and it doesn’t even need to be their birthday or even Xmas for you to give it to them. These are great gifts for any time and any budding carpenter will love them as would any experienced carpenter.
Just understand what level of carpentry they are at. For I am sure you want to give them something they will use. The only problem with that though is that if you, yourself aren’t a carpenter then how do you go about choosing the right tools?

Many senior citizens freely admit that they fear growing older more than they fear death. The prospect of becoming increasingly frail and dependent in a society which worships strength and self-reliance, and of losing family and lifetime friends can understandably make the specter of old age a frightening one.
Does senior living have to be a time of physical failing and emotional loss? Of course aging brings physical deterioration, and time brings the loss of loved ones, but senior living can still bring growth and new awareness. Those who are emotionally, financially, and socially ready to take on the challenges of aging are the ones for whom senior living can actually bring happiness.

In our small retirement community, we are thankful for the attention of law enforcement and thankful to our Association Security Force for their making our safety and security their business. However, as children of a more secure time, we cannot let those old memories and experiences set us up to be vulnerable and open to harm or crime. When you pour a glass of water from your kitchen faucet and then drink it, do you really know what’s going into your body? Typically, the water that comes from your faucet is filled with such elements as iron, sulfur, manganese, dirt, chlorine and other contaminates. While the elements may not be that abundant that they overpower the taste of the water, they are there just the same. For that reason, many people are using iron water filters to help sterilize their water so that they no longer have those elements in their water.

Why are so many companies utilizing network marketing as their chosen method of marketing?
Simply stated, it’s more efficient! They do not pay for marketing, distribution or sales until after the sale is made and the product is delivered. Compare this to traditional marketing where a company can spend millions of dollars on advertising, as well as all costs associated with an employee based sales force such as benefits, support staff, communication, travel and office, before any product is sold. Charles Givens, financial expert and best selling author of Wealth Without Risk, points out that 80 percent of the cost of getting a product to consumers today is the result of marketing expenses. Companies are looking to move their cost as close to the point of sale as possible.
